#BookReview ‘The Brevity of Twit’ a humorous look at Twitter, by K. D. Rose @KDRose1 @masqtours

The Brevity of Twit, RoseThe Brevity of Twit – a humorous book based, in part, on the challenge of successfully getting an idea, message, or statement across to the twitter public in 140 characters or less. I wasn’t sure how well that style of writing would work in book format, but I have to say that The Brevity of Twit turned out to be a much better read than I originally thought it might.

In truth, The Brevity of Twit by author K. D. Rose was a K. D. Rose, The Brevity of Twitfun and quirky read. Anyone who is familiar with Twitter will certainly get a kick out of this book. And anyone who is a Twitter ‘expert’ will most likely find it laugh-out-loud funny.

The “Multiple Tweets” and “Trending” chapters are both informative (for those new to the Twitter arena) and also hilariously funny due to the inclusion of some rather tongue-in-cheek hash-tag tweets.

The poetry chapters are also funny, and even those who aren’t huge fans of this genre should still be able to enjoy some of the sarcastic witticisms and/or humorous poems, thoughts, or musings.

In emulating Twitter, The Brevity of Twit was definitely a quick read – but one that’s certain to bring a smile to the reader’s face while teaching him, or her, something new in the process.

Five Stars…
