I was all set to…

…write a blog posting about the It Works! wrap, and provide a detailed explanation as to how (and why) it really works. Instead, having added a third distributor (just this week) to my ever growing It Works! business, I opted to reflect on what has happened to me since my decision to join this now global company.

Last August I signed up as a loyal customer. I had tried the wrap, and I liked the toning/firming it provided. This is/was important to me because I sustained a lower back injury almost two years ago and it has seriously limited my ability to live my normal, active, lifestyle.

My thoughts move forward to mid-September of 2013. I had lunch with one of my friends and she commented about her desire to slim down and her inability to do so. Of course I shared my experiences with the It Works! products; not because I was trying to sell her something, but simply because they were helping me.

I had my friend whom I had lunched with; talk to Christina (my reason for being in this business) and Christina called me later that evening to tell me that I should really become a distributor. It was a longish phone conversation because I had some serious concerns. I’ve been in telemarketing. I’ve done the Herbalife thing. I’ve done the seminars and mandatory phone calls. It’s been ingrained into my head that one must sell, Sell, SELL. And the sage advice that I was always offered by my up-line was to: “get out and get customers.” Anyway, long story short, I (obviously) agreed to become a distributor.

So, now it’s late February, and the little snowball that was my It Works! business has become the size of a boulder and it’s only getting bigger; thanks in no small part to my up-line. Why does my up-line, and their up-line, pass down information, time, and/or customers? Because we all want everyone to succeed… To quote what I heard a couple days ago: “Team work makes the dream work.”

With that said, what do I love most about my business? Helping people achieve their goals and dreams, and showing them that there really is a world outside of their work cubicle. We all had dreams as children, but I doubt many of us dreamed about being shackled to a job that doesn’t even offer recess or nap time!

If, after reading my (longer than anticipated) post, you have any questions whatsoever about the products, how they work or how the business works, please do contact me!
