Charline Ratcliff Reviews: ‘Moon Pack Rules: Her Werewolf Bodyguard’ by Michele Bardsley #MPRTour

Moon Pack Rules, BardsleyFour Stars – A great summer beach read

I’ve just finished reading romance novel Moon Pack Rules: Her Werewolf Bodyguard by Michele Bardsley. I’ve not read any books from this author before, but I will say that I enjoyed this tale. Moon Pack Rules: Her Werewolf Bodyguard was certainly a fun read – and even though it contained some minor spelling and grammatical errors it was still well-written and interesting.

In Moon Pack Rules: Her Werewolf Bodyguard, Stephanie Draper has just returned to her hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, but unfortunately the circumstances behind her return are not favorable. Stephanie has lived her entire life with the knowledge of werewolves – while she herself is human, members of her immediate family are not (which is how she became involved with Garrett). Thinking that he too was a werewolf, she allowed him to pursue her romantically and eventually married him. Shortly after the wedding, and much to her dismay, she discovered his previously hidden cruel and abusive side. She also learned that he was really a Wendigo – a nearly impossible to kill (believed to be extinct) creature of unbelievable heinousness.

Now Stephanie is on the run from her sadistically evil husband, but luckily she’s a member of the Moon Pack – a werewolf pack that will do anything to protect one of their own. This is where Nolan Wright enters the picture. A Tulsa Police Officer (and also a werewolf) he’s been assigned the task of protecting Stephanie from harm. Of course there is immediate heat between Stephanie and Nolan, but due to her bad experiences with Garrett, Stephanie attempts to fight her growing attraction.

Does she succeed in avoiding Nolan’s advances? Does she escape the clutches of her murderous husband? Is there a ‘happily ever after’ on the horizon for werewolf and human together? I guess you’ll need to get your own copy to find out…

In summary, Moon Pack Rules: Her Werewolf Bodyguard was a fun read. It’s an especially good book for reading at the beach, by the pool, or on that really dull airplane ride. Plus, anyone seeking an interesting and/or unique paranormal romance will not be disappointed.
